Fellow Privacy Policy

1. Data Fiduciary Identity & Legal Entity

House Valyris ("the Fellowship"), operating as an official unit under NOVAA NEST (Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of India Udyam Registration: UDYAM-TN-10-0054178, headquartered at 3/36C, Novaa Nest, Karuppampalayam Road, Sukkaliyur, Karur, Tamil Nadu – 639003), acts as the Data Fiduciary in respect of personal data submitted by applicants and registered Fellows. All personal data is processed solely for lawful purposes related to fellowship admission, chapter management, peer evaluation, and verifiable credential issuance.

2. Personal Data Collected & Purpose Specification

We collect and process the following categories of personal information with explicit affirmative consent:

• Identity & Contact Data: Legal Name (matching Aadhaar/PAN), Email address, Mobile Phone Number, Date of Birth.
• Fellowship Records: Chapter affiliation, assigned 1:1 Buddy records, speech milestones cleared, and attendance logs.
• Authentication Credentials: Passkeys, salted password hashes, and session tokens.

3. Processing Principles & Purpose Limitation

Under Section 6 of the DPDP Act 2023, data is processed exclusively for the purpose specified at the time of collection. House Valyris does not sell, lease, or monetize fellow data to third-party commercial brokers or advertisers under any circumstances.

4. Data Principal Rights

As a Data Principal under the DPDP Act, you have the right to:

• Access a summary of personal data processed by the Fellowship.
• Request correction or updating of inaccurate personal data.
• Request erasure of personal data, subject to statutory record retention covenants.
• Withdraw consent for optional non-essential processing.

5. Security Safeguards & Encryption

We implement industry-standard cryptographic safeguards including salted SHA-256 PBKDF2 password hashing, HTTPS/TLS 1.3 transport security, strict Content Security Policy (CSP), rate limiting, and zero plaintext secret storage.
